On our world-class charter expeditions, you'll sail aboard the 49' ketch Kirsten Anne through the pristine waters of Southeast Alaska, exploring bays, channels, fjords, glaciers, and old-growth rainforests.
Experience life aboard our beautiful yacht, and observe whales, sea otters, sea lions, bears and eagles from her decks. We'll kayak among icebergs, take our skiff for further exploration ashore, and hike along the beach or deep within the rainforest. Each evening we'll enjoy a fabulous Alaskan meal!
Alaska's Wildlife (6 days)
This sailing adventure focuses on Southeast Alaska’s greatest attractions – whales and wildlife. We’ll start by observing the productive humpback whale feeding areas west of Admiralty Island and at Pt. Adolphus. We’ll also explore the Tongass National Forest, where we’ll photograph bears, land and marine mammals, eagles and shore birds that inhabit the rainforest and coastal areas adjacent to Icy Strait. On this amazing sailing expedition, we'll experience the beauty of the Inside Passage, and observe spectacular humpback whale behaviors in Icy Strait and Frederick Sound. On our journey, we'll see charming fishing villages, an incredible array of wildlife, and the breathtaking scenery of the Inside Passage. We'll observe bears, sea lions, and sea otters, as we cruise quietly along the shoreline. On this exciting nine-day sailing expedition, we'll sail and cruise through an amazing wilderness.
