Alaska Sailing charters is proud of our partnerships in Juneau, Petersburg, Sitka, and Gustavus, Alaska. We have great relationships with business associates and friends who live in these communities.
We heartily recommend the fantastic menu at the Twisted Fish Company, on Franklin Street in downtown Juneau, and the gourmet dinners at the Gustavus Inn, while you're in Gustavus. Be sure to browse through the many art galleries in Juneau, Petersburg, Sitka and Gustavus. A great selection of work by local artists is available.
If you're looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience, we have some suggestions. In Juneau, two favorite hikes are the Perseverance Trail (easy) and Mt. Roberts Trail (strenuous). In Gustavus, we suggest hiking the the Bartlett Lake Trail (easy), or taking in a round of wilderness golf (nine-holes) at the Mount Fairweather Golf Course. Clubs are available, and the views are unbeatable.
